Jessica Spetko, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Spetko grew up on the north shore of Long Island. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then attended Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Cornell University.
Passionate about working with many species of animals, Dr. Spetko has spent time working to rehabilitate Asian elephants, macaques and gibbons in Thailand. She has also enjoyed working with seals and sea lions as a marine mammal intern at a local aquarium. Her true passion, however, lies in small animal medicine.
Dr. Spetko is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Long Island Veterinary Medical Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Spetko enjoys horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with her family. She has Zoey, a cat rescued from St. Kitts.
